National Historic Landmark (NHL) is the highest level of federal designation in the United States. There are just over 2,600 of them nationally, as compared to the roughly 98,000 properties listed in the National Register (NR).
Have you ever wondered how the nomination process differs from that of the National Register? We’ll learn how the documentation is the same, and how it differs, on March 27th at 6pm in an online talk with Anne Lindsay.
Lindsay will discuss the differences in these designations, the NHL process, and key elements to consider when evaluating potential properties.
